Former Xiaomi brand Poco is rumoured to launch a new smartphone in the X-series soon, according to a report by XDA Developers. The report claims that the handset is expected to be the successor of the Poco X2, which was launched earlier this year.
As per the report, the alleged Poco X3 has been spotted on the certification listing on certifications aggregator FCCID’s website that includes some of the key specifications of the upcoming rumoured handset.
The listing reveals that the soon to be launched Poco smartphone will be launched with the model number M2007J20CG. The handset is expected to house a triple or a quad rectangular camera module with rounded edges camera setup and the primary camera sensor is expected to be a 64MP sensor. The report also mentions that as per the RF test report, the handset is said to run on MIUI 12 operating system out of the box.
Meanwhile, the company is also known to be working on a handset that is expected to lock horns with the OnePlus Nord.
Just this week, Poco’s product marketing manager Angus Kai Ho Ng posted an image on Twitter that hints that the handset will boast of a high refresh rate, which several online reports are pointing out to be 120Hz. Previous rumours have suggested that this handset is going to come powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G processor. Even though the battery capacity is not speculated yet but it is said to be accompanied with a 33W fast charging. In the camera department, only the primary camera is being alleged and is said to be a 64MP sensor.
It is likely that the alleged Poco X3 turns out to be the known OnePlus Nord rival, however, we will have to wait till the launch to know for sure.
