Huawei Y9a with MediaTek Helio G80 SoC launched – Times of India

Huawei has unveiled a new smartphone called Huawei Y9a. The handset is already listed on Huawei’s official website.
The price and date of availability of the device are yet to be announced by the company. Although on the specs page of the handset, the company reveals that the top end variant will come only to Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific area and some countries in Middle Asia and the base variant will come to “other areas.”

Running on Android 10-based EMUI 10.1 out of the box, the Huawei Y9a smartphone offers a display of 6.63-inch TFT LCD FHD+ screen of 2400x1080p resolution with a pop-up selfie camera.
The Huawei Y9a smartphone comes powered by MediaTek Helio G80 processor. On the storage front, the device offers 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM options and 128GB internal storage. For those who want more, they can install a microSD card of 256GB.
For imaging duties, the Huawei Y9a has a quad-camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 64MP sensor (f/1.8 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide sensor (f/2.4 aperture), 2MP depth lens (f/2.4 aperture) and 2MP macro lens (f/2.4 aperture). On the front, users get a 16MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
Backed by a 4300mAh battery, the Huawei Y9a comes with Ambient Light Sensor, Gyroscope, Compass, Gravity Sensor, Fingerprint Sensor
Measuring 163.5.4×76.5×8.9mm and weighing 197 grams, the smartphone has been launched in three colour options Space Silver, Sakura Pink and Midnight Back.
